WATCH ABOUT HERMEN
WHAT ELSE DOES HERMEN DO?
Hermen Dange, a sportsperson and public speaker from Manchester, has transformed his life from an ex-inmate involved in drugs and gang activity to an inspiring figure shaping the lives of others. During his time in prison, Hermen immersed himself in education and began forming a positive "gang" by identifying and nurturing talent in others. Today, he uses his journey as a tool to guide ex-offenders and at-risk youth through his Second Chance Programme, delivered alongside a team of like-minded individuals to schools, PRUs, prisons, and youth centers across England.

As the founder of Made Running, Hermen has built the UK’s largest running club, which has been one of the fastest growing communities. His personal running journey began with Park Run, eventually leading to a collaboration with the organization. Hermen’s commitment to fitness and sports extends beyond running; he’s a passionate advocate for community well-being and personal growth. He has worked with several notable brands and continues to support fellow athletes in achieving their goals.

Hermen’s influence doesn’t stop at running or mentoring; he also spearheads Made to Talk, a platform that brings people together to discuss their unique contributions and experiences. His accomplishments, including running businesses in the transport and food industries and being featured in a BBC interview (above), reflect his unwavering dedication to motivating others to achieve their potential. With a life marked by resilience and purpose, Hermen continues to raise awareness and inspire a new generation.
